It was a hot August morning when I traveled to New Canaan to meet Daphnie and her lovely family. Relatives were in town from out of state so it was the perfect opportunity to get some photos with the family all together.  The plan was originally to take a few shots at home then head over to a nearby park. The backyard was a great backdrop with blooming hydrangeas and beautiful stonework, and we were able to get more than a few shots here! As we were getting ready to head over to the park Daphnie suggested why not just stay at the house and take some more photos in a different section of the yard. That way we wouldn't have to worry about loading and unloading everyone, and potentially losing the little ones' interest. Flexibility is my middle name so it was no problem at all to pivot! It was a great call because we continued on and were able to capture some great moments with laughter and love.
