The S. family was starting a new chapter as they welcomed their second child and moved into a new home - all within a two week time frame! I was excited to be able to capture a glimpse  of this very special (if not chaotic) time for them. At just 20 months old, we knew that it would be a "toddler toss up" with how much big brother Kieran would want to participate. Luckily, we were able to get a few solidly adorable photos with him before he decided that a break with Blippi would be far more interesting than me and my camera. So while Kieran relaxed, I utilized the gorgeous natural light to grab some shots of the proud parents and sweet baby Madison. After that, I went into more of a candid mode. (These always tend to be my favorites. It's about capturing the little things that make up this season of life - like gently shushing your crying baby or helping your toddler put on his shoes or having both little ones curl up in your lap for a story before nap time - that you do every day until one day you don't anymore.) We finished up with some shots in the nursery. I absolutely loved the decor - it added such a nice personal touch. All in all this was a great session! Thank you, S. family for choosing me to document this time!
