This backyard session was set up to capture a new chapter in life for Alexis and her beloved dog Fennel. After a year of some personal churn she wanted to commemorate making it to the other side and celebrate how well she and Fennel are doing now.  She admitted that she felt a little silly taking these pictures as a person with no kids but decided to shake things up and just go for it. I absolutely love this attitude and encourage everyone who is a little hesitant to just go ahead and do it! You matter. Your life, whatever it may look like now, matters. And absolutely everyone deserves to be captured in photos.
